All summer '17

To be honest, there are times during the summer that I absolutely wish snow would fall or actual Fall would come. But we have no control over the weather, so we must adjust our bodies and moods to the temperature. What we do have control over is how we spend our time for the three months. If you're a social-lite, it's pretty easy to get invited to a pool party or rooftop bar in the city. Now if you're a "lone wolf" as I am at times it's okay to go out and enjoy yourself. Even if it's only featuring your haha. Here are some things I would do:

1. Take a trip to the beach or pool. All you need is a good pair of sunglasses, towel, something to snack on and some headphones. It's a good way to cool down and take some good summer snaps for Snapchat. If you're not lucky enough to have a pool in the backyard of your parents house google the closest public pool. It's only about $3 to get in and $8 per vehicle. I've also gone as much as booking a hotel room with a pool just to avoid the long lines at a public pool.

2. Get into planting. It may not sound like a party but it's a great way to clear your mind and learn about your environment. Head to your nearest Dollar Tree to purchase soil, a vase, and some seeds. Start of with one plant and make it a hobby to water your plant. Watch it grow!

3. Join a meetup. If you haven't heard of the website meetup.com, take a moment to search it up. There are ways to meet new people by joining a group with similar interest and attending an event. Join your local volleyball meetup or partake in a dance class held on a boat. It's not dating although they have that too but rather investing in great memories.

4. Grill. Most of us don't know how to grill because we're still learning how to adult. But that's what YouTube is for. Being able to BBQ/Grill during the summer is almost the essence of summer. Buy yourself a $10 grill, some veggies, burgers, hot dogs whatever you might like and feed your soul. I love some good summer food! You might not get it right the first time but as long as it's cooked through you will be alright. Don't forget some juicy cold watermelon or fruit. I think I'm getting myself hungry.

5. Purchase a class. Similar to number 3, you can also purchase a class from groupon.com or class pass. It can be a dance class or a fitness class. Whatever it is, get out and try something new,.
